After reading the first part of Chapter 1 (Out of Africa and The Ways we were) I learned alot about the Paleolithic area. I think what really stood out to me was the human migration which initially lead from Africa to the Middle East, then to Europe over to Asia, then Indonesia over to Australia, then from Australia into the Americas and the Pacific. It was just crazy how they migrated so far, although over a great period of time I still think it is pretty awesome. Also I learned that ancestors who lived in the Paliolithic Era had more freedom than any human society, in which I do understand but I didn't figure right off the top of my head when I started reading.
