Chapter 5 was a cool chapter too I liked reading about how the societys were in Eurasia and North Africa. It was interesting reading about the different classes like the elite of officials, the landlord class, the peasants, and the merchants in China and looking at both the similiarities and differences between China and Indias Class system. It was interesting to see how the Barahims were divided into separate subcastes like the varnas and the untouchables. And it was interesting that the untouchables were talked about in this Chapter because in today's society the untouchables are known as different things when really they are truly a caste of India. Later when it came to Rome, I liked the section that contrasted between Athens and Sparta, I thought it was neat because people only know of the feud but not the detail behind it.
